As of right now, there are three major locations on Pantropa that Oods (Out-of-Dimension travelers) can visit and/or live in. Other locations are likely to be discovered over time, since this is a whole freakin' planet, after all. But the locals tend to get pretty pushy if an Ood tries to leave their currently designated areas. Best not to annoy them for now.

This is where you arrive... all portals feed through Terminal Island, and into what is, for all intents and purposes, a half-finished terminal that looks like it got dumped here from the US in the 1960s. The only thing that looks like it still works is the control panel next to the portal arch ... and even that's questionable. Any attempt to go back through the portal fails, and the panel flashes, requesting something called a Dimensional Code.
There are plenty of cushy seats and benches around, and a food court that could probably make decent food if someone ... actually supplied the kitchens. It's brand new, save for the dust... so why isn't Terminal Island an actual functioning terminal? It is a mystery.
The only thing that seems to work properly on a regular basis is the monorail station just outside the baggage claim area. There are two lines on the map: one to The Badlands, and one to The City Islands.
The City Islands

The Blue Line leads to The City Islands - an archipelago linked by the elevated line of the monorail. This city seems to have everything you might need, no matter what dimension you're from ... for a price, of course. You might want to visit the bank as your first stop, and change some of your money. If you don't have any money ... you'll probably have to find yourself a job. The Pantropans aren't big on charity for Oods, for some reason.
The aesthetic of City Islands is very sleek, but organic, as seen above: lots of clean curves modeled to match the natural curves of sea and sand, plenty of vegetation worked into the landscaping, and lots of pale colors and glass. There are a lot of open-air gardens, both on the ground and in the air: some are even on hover-platforms at the level of the monorail tracks, so that there's immediate pleasant scenery for passengers. Those who don't travel by monorail have small hover-scooters or little hovering craft which resemble pontoon boats. (A fair amount of Oods end up with first jobs as landscapers, window-cleaners, or cab drivers, since all of them are so prominent.)
On the largest island stands The Hotel Detritus, a building designed specifically with disoriented Oods in mind. The ground floor is home to a chapter of the Coalition for Peaceful Ood Existence, which gives out maps, brochures, and a cheap 7-inch comm tablet to each guest. This tablet is enough to communicate with others, but not too much else. (For more on the way the network functions, check out this post, specific to the NOMO Network). Your starter tablet is Pantropa's equivalent of a drop phone, but if you get a job and make some cash, you can always upgrade to something better - maybe even those rollable fancy ones you see a lot of natives walking around with. For now, though, it gets the job done.
Hotel rooms have a single, Queen-sized bed each, moderately comfortable mattresses and blankets, a closet, bathroom, and desk. The bedside tables all have a copy of The Gospel of Zoamelgustar inside, which is mostly strange, rambling gibberish about vengeance and glory.
The hotel also has one restaurant/bar called The Engine Room, run by an Ood couple from one of the Earth dimensions. Its menu is simple, but the chef,

There is a large indoor market at the center of the City Islands, where people can buy just about anything from produce to pen refills. Rent for booths is somewhat affordable, for anyone who might want to try starting their own business. As for other jobs, the city is like any other busy metropolis: if you need a job, you can easily find one in your niche of choice. Just check the newspaper on your tablet ... and don't forget to graze its periodical advice column, Ask Phoebe, while you're at it.
If you happen to find yourself in the midst of a medical emergency, a hover-ambulance can be called via the NOMO, and you will be whisked away to the city hospital, Our Lady of Perpetual Trauma. Several medical professionals displaced from their own dimensions have found jobs here, including the Chief of Interdimensional Medicine,

The Red Line from Terminal Island dumps you at the rocky shore of a continent, and a basic, wooden information stand like those on hiking trails gives a map to a shanty town about a mile's walk away. The continent is mostly rolling plains, though a few rough mountain ranges line the horizon. The shanty town has a basic mercantile store, a jail, a coroner... basically, it's a Space Western, without all the shiny stuff, and less people speaking random Chinese. The map leads you directly to The Homestead, a massive barn-like structure built to house any Oods who want to try and make a living on Pantropa in more of a rustic fashion, living off the land. There are forests to the east, with good hunting: the creatures seem like some sort of strange cross between a canine and a moose, actual jackalopes, and squirrels. Because you just can't escape squirrels no matter where you go in the universe. The mountains to the North and West are formidable, and anyone who tries to cross them will get badgered back down by the lizard-goats that live on their slopes. (They're poisonous. Don't let them bite you, or you'll turn chartreuse and have 5 hours to make it to a doctor on The City Islands before you start vomiting uncontrollably.) If you have any concerns about The Badlands, please don't take them up with your mayor/marshall,
